This doesn’t happen in other programs, so I’m wondering if it is a Photoshop specific problem. I have my profile set to Enhanced Matte, but when I open the properties menu on my Epson 2200, the only choices are Premium Glossy, Semigloss and Luster.

I have tried using both the Photo Black cartridge and the Matte cartridge with the same results.

Same picture saved in tif, and opened in Word Perfect, gave me all the paper type choices in the printer.

Thank you for any advice!
Peggy

That’s odd, I have all the paper choices on my 1280 within ps when I hit properties.

Are you on a network using a shared printer?

If you right click on the printer in the Printers folder and choose properties, are the correct paper choices listed there?

Peace,
Tony

Tony, I just got back online and want to thank you for your response. I found when I loaded the matte black ink I had to exit and go back into Photoshop to get the choces of the other papers. I still can’t figure out why the ink makes a difference because it doesn’t in Word Perfect.

I’m not on a network using a shared printer. Epson said to make sure I had the USB port selected. (I did.) The next thing they suggested was uninstalling and reinstalling the printer software and driver. It’s been so hectic around here I haven’t had a change to do that yet.

But at least now I can print my photos! 😀

Thank you,
Peggy
