How do i draw a dotted line in Photoshop CS

Hi,

this is probably a very trivial question bu i really need some help. How do I draw a dotted line in Photoshop CS?

I don’t have CS, so it may have changed, although I doubt it…

You get a square brush and set the spacing from the brushes palette. If you want to draw a straight line, you can click point 1, then shift click the end point and it will be straight.

At least that’s how we’ve had to du it for v 6 & 7.

For a simple solution
CS now comes with a Dotted Sroke style.

Draw a Rectangle (for example).
Then go ‘Window/Styles’.
Click the Styles Palette menu icon (upper right)
From the list, select ‘Dotted Strokes’.
Click on any one of them to apply to the rectangle shape. cheers
