When I open Photo CD’s in CS I’m rarely shown the correct thumbnail for the image I’m choosing. It seems to have embedded the thumbs from the first discs I viewed, and not the current disc. When I have a disc that has more images than the previous few that I’ve opened it will show the correct thumb as long as I am past the image# of the previous discs. (Example: I have a number of Pro Photo CD’s that only have about 10-20 images on them. When I load a Master CD that have as many as 100 images I will be shown thumbs from previous discs for say image #’s 1-20, but it will show me the correct images for any others above those file #’s I choose. BUT when I load a different Master or Pro disc and choose the same image# it displays the thumb from any previous disc that has the same image#) I hope that’s not too confusing but it’s the best way I can explain it!
Is there an image cache just for photo cd’s that I can delete after each opening?? HELP!

Yes, and that’d be my first suggestion based on your description of what’s happening, albeit a bit odd. What follows assumes you’re using the File Browser in CS. If you’re not, just skip what I have to say <grin>.

In the File Browser Tab there’s a little triangle (at least in version 7 there is); Click that and a flyout menu appears. Choose Purge Cache. That’s what I’d try.

Peace,
Tony

Choose Purge Cache.

My wife does that to me every pay day.

🙂

(Actually, it’s Dan. But Doug is one of the nicer names I’ve been called lately.)
