And did you exchange a walk-on part in the war

Yeah, didn’t you read the post? My computer screen started to morph. Not your name, like the action known as morphing.

Sleep deprivation will cause that. When I go without sleep for 48 hours solid objects will start to ripple like water. That’s when I know it’s time to pack it in.

Probably the beginnings of a torn or detaching retina.
Get off the computer, stop using your eyes for sharp focus (reading, writing, drawing, etc. tasks for al least a month.

"perkoff the jerkoff" (as it likes to refer to itself) is completely computer illiterate. This asshole perkoff is like the Napoleon Dynamite of spam trolls. "perkoff the jerkoff" is a spam troll that fraudulently accuses others of being spammers and trolls.

I’m not even seeing the bilgefag’s immature spamtrums since I killfiled its domain, but "perkoff the jerkoff" (see below) is too stupid to understand that.

Personally I see little lights. More like a very brief round spark. Mostly blue. They only appear a few times a day and at first I thought I was imagining them. I went to two doctors and my optometrist but they couldn’t detect anything. The only references I can find to them is in New age/spiritual circles. Since I had been meditating for about a year this kind of fit in. I’m still looking for a scientific explanation though.

On new age sites I still occasionally see posts saying "I’m seeing small blue lights". Strange… must be the Matrix too 🙂

If they happen when your eyes are ‘flicking’ from L to R or Up to Down as in fast reading or comparison of points in an image, then it could be the first signs of a tear in the edge of the retina. Continued strain will produce larger flickers. It will heal IF not strained, but if pushed can become a detached retina!

Second stage is often accompanied (but not always) with a feeling of ‘pressure’ in that eye ONLY. That’s as against a typical migrane or ‘pressure’ headache where BOTH eyes feel ‘bloated’.

Covering the afflicted eye with a patch will help, not continuing using in quick motion and pure rest is the best!

There being no smiley at the end, I hope the OP realizes that this is a rather clever leg pull by Monsieur de Nul.

The blue sparks are probably a normal phenomenon due to white blood cells moving through the retinal blood vessels and creating a light stimulus. The cells themselves can also be seen by looking at a large uniform field such as a blue sky.

The medical term for spontaneous light sensations is "phosphene", and they are rather interesting. You can create one by closing your eye and pressing on one side of your eyeball – a bluish circle will appear on the opposite side. Astronauts see large ones occasionally due to Cherenkov radiation from cosmic ray particles.

Yeah, so I thought until I pushed computer screen work combined with reading too far and had a small, but detectable detached edge area!

You also failed to read that I was referring to one eye alone having the symptom, eh?

Go believe what you want, but IF they increase and enlarge, watch out!

I’m healed, but if others don”t know that any flashing in ONE eye, can be a precursor … !
