Hi all,
Photoshop has 7.0 worked great for the last few months until now. Suddenly, I keep getting a message that says "program error" when trying to save as a JPG. All other save modes are Ok.
I have reset preferences, defraged the hard drive and reinstalled Photoshop from scratch and always the same problem. It just won’t save JPGs anymore so I’m forced to work in TIFF mode. Note the current TIFF file I’m working on is 112mb grayscale image converted from original 25mb JPG image.
Note, I can load and save the same TIFF file in PS 5.5 and also save it as a JPG which in turn, will load in PS7.0 but it will NOT save as a JPG in ANY compression setting. Weird.
Our system:
AMD XP2000+ CPU
256mb ram
Windows XP Pro
80gb HD 40% free.
