I installed XP sp2 last night, and my Adobe Gamma stopped working. It doesn’t respond to any adjustment when I tried to tweak it. Any suggestions? Do I need to reinstall PC? Thanks.

make sure you’re in true color (24 or 32 bit) mode and upgrade your video drivers

If you recall our recent "spat" with ATI over their newer drivers, you should be prepared to test several versions of the driver, if necessary, to get back your LUT adjustability.

My screen resolution is set correctly (32 bit), Dave. My video card is indeed ATI (Radeon 7200 family). Their latest driver is 4.8, posted 8/16/2004 Is that the one I should use? But what is inside the XP sp2 that made adobe gamma lose its functions? Anyone else experiencd this? Thanks.

Just to give a followup report: I installed a new driver (ATI 4.8), and gamma came back! Thanks, guys!
