All,

When I use the fantastic new feature of CS called web gallery under automate, I get a wonderful slide show that I can link to from my web site’s pages and entertain folks with my images.

I have noticed that when I have a vertical image in the set of images for the slideshow, that the behavior differs as follows:

– When I view the resultant slide show just using Windows Explorer (by double clicking on the index.htm file), the vertical images are sized properly as well as the horizontal images.

– When I post the gallery files (all the output from the web gallery wizard), and browse the gallery from a web server, the vertical images are distorted to the width I constrained when running the web gallery wizrd.

Why is the behavior different? Isn’t it all the same protocol? http? Why would the browser (IE 6 in my case) treat the pages with vertical images differently when browsed from a web site versus a file system?

I am baffled. Has anyone solved this one yet?
