Do you have any idea where I could find bubbles to insert text in a picture, like in a comic strip ?

Thanks !

Simple.
Select your Custom Shape Tool.
Now go to the dropdown menu at the top of the screen whick shows icons of all the pre-defined custom shapes, and you should find quite a few different shaped speech and thought bubbles.
Simply select one, and then drag it out on your image to the desired size. It’s best to do this on a fresh layer, then you can drag it and move it around to get the positioning perfect.

Not off the top of my head, no sorry.
Does V6 allow you to define your own custom shapes using the path tool?

You might want to try this site?
http://www.freephotoshop.com/html/free_shapes.html

It says they’re compatible right back to version 6 so you should be okay.

If you have the Webdings font on your system, you could use the followin characters to give a variety of 8 different shaped, and easily scaleable speech bubbles.

I got a great set of custom shapes for speech balloons at ADOBE EXCHANGE not sure if it is good for version 6 though
