I am with version 6.

I would like two merge two shapes (made using the shape tool) into one single shape (for example, two rectangles to make a cross), but I could not find the command. Could you help?

Sorry for being so stupid…

That’s gotta be frustrating for anyone with the same question waiting for an answer.

Hint: Options Bar; Path Selection Tools, etc.

You’re certainly right, but I am using Photoshop in french and french commands are probably useless for the most part of this forum’s readers. That’s why.

There’s no such thing as a dumb question.
Every question is an intelligent one to the people who desperately need an aswer.

Now dumb answers are another thing entirely 😉

Like many other french contributors (as me)
it’s easy to do a bit of translation.

Hahaha I have a hard time to find a dumbest answer to match the dumbest question, so I skipped the message instead <bg>

Okay, I’ll concede that one.

Reminds me of my mate, who has an unfeasibly large forehead, a few years ago when he got pulled over for speeding.
He was on his way home after a particularly bad day in work, and was doing 35mph in a 30 zone.
The policeman asked him "Do you know why I’ve stopped you sir?" To which Chris replied in his most sarcastic tone, "Let me guess. Is it because I have an unfeasibly large forehead?".

Bang !

Instant speeding ticket.
LOL.
