CS always reacts with delay.

Whatever I do Photoshop CS reacts with small but evident delay. If I select picker – pointer becomes as picker in second. If I select brush tool – poiner becomes as brush in second. If I’m starting to draw with selected brush – trail from the brush becomes visible in second. Ans so and so and so on – total controls and application themself react with small but evident delay. All my scripts began to work very slowly with CS but with 7.0.1 they are works fast and fine!

These delays are very annoying!

I tried to reduce video acceleration – no result.

Also what does Photoshop all the time in my network? – My Local Area Connection icon always highlighting when Photoshop is started and idle.

…. what the hell!!!

I tried to break my local area connection. Close CS. Start CS again and all these delayes are fully disappeared!!!

Before I noted that when I sketch with brush for a while the icon of local connection it goes out.

I think that SC is always occupied with some search in my local network, and therefore it cannot quickly react to the commands of user.

Why? What does CS in my network all the time???

Have you got Version cue running?

A network printer that has been removed, but who’s shortcut is still in your system?

I don’t have Version Cue installed and no one network printers too.

I wrote that I tried to turn OFF my local connection and at this time launch CS. So, after that they became a good puppy – no delay, no annoyning. Now I tune my CS for work.

Something on your machine is touching the network, not Photoshop.

If you have no network printers or scanners, then you need to check for viruses.
