Just wish to introduce myself.
My name is Greg.

After many years of using PS5 and PS6, I was finally able to scape up enough money to get a new Photoshop package. I was able to get an unopened boxed edition of Photoshop CS2 (Windows) for approx half the current value of CS3. I paid approx 500 Australian Dollars.

My problem occurred while trying to install.
The program would totally install and when expecting the installation to ask for a restart, this did not eventuate. Upon starting the program it appears to send the registration details and then comes up with the following error message and then immediately closes.

Error detected, Activation cannot continue please restart windows and reinstall the program.

Could any one out there in the group please tell me what this means, as I can not find any answers, Adobe has not been of any assistance. I have tried reinstalling several times including onto a brand new hard disk.

Many thanks
Greg T.
