Hullo,

I have CS3 and is extremely annoyed by this completely unnecessary, useless "feature" that fades the palettes in/out when e.g. flipping from other programs to PS.

I have a G5 with 2GB SDRAM. But with 6-8 apps running and several heavy documents open, the silly fade-in sucks the CPU and takes 1-2 seconds. And since it’s not unusual to flip between apps on average once/minute, those seconds soon adds up to minutes, and after a full day, I have probably spent 15 minutes staring at this completely superfluous eye candy which function obviously is to be an obstacle.

And what bugs me more is that the developers haven’t even been clever enough, or courteous, to offer a way to turn it off. Or are there ways that I have missed?

(Please accept my apologies for rant. Idiotic things like this really pisses me off)

Cheers,
Danny
