Lolsless JPEGs still NOT opening

I followed the instructions and copied the plug in: JPEG2000.8bi from the CD rom to the correct program file as indicated on previous e-mail. Re-started the computer. Still get the same message: "Could not complete your request because readign spatial/losless JPEG file is not implemented."

Do I need to go somewhere to "implement" or "activate" the plug in?

Bert,
To sidetrack you a little, can you download IrfanView from <http://www.irfanview.com> and also download the lossless plugin for it?
Then you could see whether Irfanview ( which is a free, very useful utility ) would open the file without a problem. Might be a corruption issue and nothing will work. At worst , Irfanview will open it up and you can save it to TIF to see in Photoshop .

"Copy the JPEG2000 (Mac OS) or JPEG2000.8bi (Windows) plug-in to the Photoshop/Plug-Ins/Adobe Photoshop Only/File Formats folder on your hard disk."
