Not sure if this is what you want, but you could use the color selector (Select>>Color Range)

Same color for ALL the houses????? Same color for one ENTIRE house??????

IF true, try the Magic Wand, switch to quick mask so you can cover over any non-house things that were also selected. Switch back to the marching bugs and copy. Paste the houses into a new file.
