I recently upgraded from PS7 to CS… I use Photoshop primarily to create Web mock-ups.

In the new version, text underlines seem to have been shifted to the bottom of the font decender. Is this an error or something done on purpose, and is there a way to fix/adjust it to sit just a bit below the font baseline as it did in older versions?

Text hyperlinks look terrible with the underlines hanging down so low…

open the character palette, select the context menu (right facing arrow) and choose reset character from the menu

Thanks, but that does nothing to change the position of the underline.

The problem is not some weird formatting I applied to a specific font… Underlines are just lower on every font than they were in older versions of Photoshop.
