Greetings folks!

Been away some time nursing SWIMBO (smashed ankle and foot – ho humm)

Now finding that previously I had a handy link causing my mouse scroll button to expand and contract on the zoom, regardless of what other tool was loaded, in CS2, now it has gone – shock, horror, scream, remove rest of hair, etc….

Can any kind person tell me how I can get it back?

TIA?

Hi Keith, welcome back, and I hope your significant other is doing well.

It’s in the Photoshop options. This from the PS manual:

If your mouse has a scroll wheel, you can use it to zoom in or out after selecting the Zoom tool. Choose Edit > Preferences > General (Windows) or Photoshop > Preferences > General (Mac OS) and select the Zoom With Scroll Wheel option to enable this behavior.

I had stopped using this feature after switching to CS3, so your question reminded me. The scroll wheel behavior also changes when you press the Shift Key.
