When I open a TIFF some are disabled ( for example artistic )

If I open a JPEG all filters are working ..

Any suggest ?

it’s because not all the file formats are compatible with all the filters (but the list is longer as version numbers increases)
try to change all your files in .PSD RGB 8 bits*, you’ll be sure that everything works

*save as>psd
and
image>mode> RGB 8 bits/layer

it’s because not all the file formats are compatible with all the filters (but the list is longer as version numbers increases)

No. They don’t have to be psd. But they DO have to be RGB and 8 bit per channel.

and

This has nothing to do with TIFF> Most likely, the file in which the filters do not work is CMYK rather than RGB, or 16 bits per cannel rather than 8 bits per channel.

Check and make sure it’s an RGB file — most of the filters don’t work on anything but RBG images.

Hope that’s it. The problem doesn’t strike any bells. Anybody else?

BTW: If you don’t want to convert the image, try using Effects instead of filters. They non-destructive in most cases. You can then write the image out as a copy after saving it as a PDS file.
