Hi all,

I’m obviously doing somehting wrong here so hope you can advise. I have a framed image and I want to add text at the bottom of the frame. If I click the "align centre" button the text does not seem to be central in the frame. If I click "align left" then the text moves to the right! If I click "align right" the text moves to the left!
I guess I need to explore the settings, which I’ll do, but maybe an answer will come from the gurus here.
Cheers,
Paul

Update: Sorry…figured it out. Draw a text box…add the text…align centre/right/left..works fine. Knew it had to be easy! Now to figure out all theoptions in the paragraph dialogue box!:)

You may also want to look at smart guides in the help system. I use these all the time to align and centre text outside frames.
