Hi,

heard about, that photoshop CS3 is allowed to intall to a 2. computer. But I can’t find the linense to read whether it is true.

Any hints?

Thanks
Kai

I’ve heard the opposite.
You need to de-activate to add to a second.

I think it’s Macromedia that lets their software on your notebook too. But Adobe. No.

Not sure.

I hope these links will help. I have two installs, one on my desktop and a second on my laptop. No problems in getting the activations for CS3.

Yes, thanks. From there I found the Eulas:
http://www.adobe.com/products/eulas/pdfs/Gen_WWCombined-CS3- 20060817_1651.pdf

see 2.4. Portable or Home Computer Use.

It is allowed to use a 2. installation on notebook or home computer, but only from the same person and not at the same time.

Bye.

We’re writers and publishers, and have to move serial numbers from technical editors to proofreaders to editors — and turning the serials on and off on multiple machines works fine for us. We need more than one serial number to keep enough people working on books at the same time, but each serial number definitely runs two machines.

Nonsense. I am using CS3 on both computers. In fact Adobe helped me install the second computer.

Correct. You may have two active activations. You may install it as many places as you like, but only two copies may be activated at the same time.

I have CS3 Production Premium installed on my primary desktop, but my new laptop is a Macbook Pro. I know you can convert from a Windows license to a Mac, but can i have it as one computer uses the windows license and the other a mac license?

Thanks,

I don’t know, but I don’t think so, because in the past, the license was for Mac and Win and now they are seperate.
