Hello, All!

I had a LCD digital photo frame given to me. I moved a number of pictures to it, but several are cut off at the top/bottom. The actual picture view can only be 3.25" x 6". I would like to resize my pictures to fit this, although I’m not sure it will work very well since my pictures are all 3:2 aspect.

Has anyone else run into this problem? Maybe it is unique to my frame (cheap?). If there is a way to resize to fit, I would then want to write a script and batch it to save my resized jpg files for it.

Thanks,
Colonel Blip.

Using 6" x 3.25"

I would get the image, resize to your DFF height of 3", then increase the canvas size to screen proportions, then fill with black.

Yes an action script should do the job and then batch.

It might depend on the type of frame you have.
For some of them it’s a real pain to get things right.
Take a look at this example:
ftp://ftp.time-ce.com/Manuals/Digital%20Picture%20Frame/DPF- 750%20Series/DPF-750_EN_PICTURE_OPTIMALISATION_INSTRUCTIONS. PDF
So, go to the manufactorers website and see if there’s an instruction for you’re frame.
(or read the manual again)
