I’m not having any luck with the preferences reset. I am running win 2000 professional not XP…. I tried holding down ctrl-alt-shift as ps7 starts…….no luck. Any other suggestions.
I tried un installing ps7 and then re installing with no good result. I have all the current updates to win 2000 pro loaded. I did a complete scan of the entire computer with norton internet security 2004 with the most current virus files…… found nothing

You’ll have to be quicker on those keys. It does work.

Open Start/Programs first.Get to where you can click on Photoshop start. Hold down all three at same time, THEN click on program to start. Try that.

Or go to:

C:\Documents and Settings\*USER NAME*\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop\7.0\Adobe Photoshop 7.0 Settings

and delete the Adobe Photoshop 7.0 Prefs.psp file.
