Paul and myself have over 30 years experience
between us working in the Design & Graphics
Industry producing finished artwork for many
prestidious clients. In recent years we have
progressed to creating and producing quality
graphics for websites.

We would like to offer you a Consultancy Service
answering any design or creative issues you may
have using Photoshop or Illustrator.

There is no charge for this service as we both
enjoy interactively getting to know and talking
to individuals from around the globe by way
of the net.

Like many others before us we have plans to
create a website and email newsletter with content
dealing with the design and creative issues
encountered using Photoshop and Illustrator.
This will give you another useful and helpful
resource to fall back on when you require
additional inspiration and know how.

First things first, we need to know if there
will be enough interest in our proposed
project. We would appreciate it if you could
show your support by clicking reply with your
yes vote or even sending us a question you
would like our opinion on.

We both look forward to building a friendly
and helpful relationship with you in the future.

Kind regards,
Steve and Paul

We’ve been using these tools on a day to day basis for over 10 years to my recollection. During this time we believe we have gained a very good working knowledge of both these
programs.
Yes, we agree, there are thousands of others offering help and advise but that doesn’t really concern us. We just want to build a relationship with a number of people who would appreciate a little help now and then. That makes us feel special and happy in the thought that we can ‘make someone’s day’.
I don’t know what you mean about yes/no direction buttons. I didn’t create any??
Anyway, I hope you will give a couple of genuine guys your support in the future.
Kind regards,
Steve & Paul.

30 years design experience, but how much Photoshop/Illustrator experience? You’d also just be competing against the literal thousands of self-proclaimed pro’s allready on the net… What makes your service so special?

I also tried to follow your directions and click the ‘yes’ or ‘no’ button, but they are no where to be found…

Welcome to usenet newbie…

As a total novice to both these excellent programs i appreciate your offer of support Steve – im sure i can find many questions for you 🙂 one thing am wondering at the moment is if Illustrator 10 provides support for pressure sensitive pens when running under Win2000 – i read an old post that suggested this was not supported in an earlier windows version

Tell me, do all Vulcans have pointy ears or do you have the clipped when your young?

If you are for real and as experienced as you say then my vote would be
yes.
Wow. No button to push. Just do as you ask, click reply and vote yes or
ask
for help now. Was simple enough for me, to bad "n8 skow" is such an idiot. You will have problems with people like that. Please do not let them discourage you from your desire to help.

Thank you,

i think anyone who has the ambition to create a site with imaginative tutorials and advise should go for it. I would first look at some of the well established sites listed on here (such as myjanee) and see what you think is missing.

I’ve been using PS for about 7 years at work…but there are still things for me to learn.

One suggestion tho….make sure to have dowlodable pdfs for printing….i cant stand tutorials where you cant print out…it frustrating having to go back and forth.

I’d say GO FOR IT! you dont have to reinvent the wheel…but perhaps just put some new tires on it.

regards

jj

Well, I don’t know. Either in their 30 years they have never had to spell "prestigious" or their spell checker is broke. Either case this post didn’t come across as overly professional. But, what do I know.

And the other thing is.. being a suspicious sort of person, but not having been to the site, exactly what code is sitting under the Reply button?

Just my tuppence worth 🙂

Don’t believe they gave a site. I think they wanted people to reply on the group…

Ah, people kept going on about a site and a reply button… 😉
