A question about whether to buy A3 premium photo glossy or matte inkjet paper when framing under (a) plain or (b) anti-reflection glass. This assumes that the photograph is correctly mounted using a bevel mount board and glass i.e. correctly not touching the glass.

Is there a difference in perceived image quality with the different papers when under glass?

Not quite on topic, but depending upon your printer, there may be other factors to consider.

For example, if you have an ultrachrome ink Epson printer, the mat paper has much longer archival qualities than their gloss (which is still very good).

Just a thought ….
