Hallo, I hope some can help me here, because adobe.indesign.* seems to be completely abandoned. My colegue has recently bought Indesign CS for the Mac so as to be compatible with me (as i’ve got CS on my PC). However, when we save something on the Mac, it won’t open on the PC. You’ll get an error in Document.FrameWork plugin and it won’t load. Files created on the PC however work perfect on the Mac. How can I fix this? Both CS’s are fully updated.

That update is no longer available via Adobe 🙁 Google provided no solution either.

That update was only for ID2 anyway, wouldn’t have effected CS nicely.

Sounds like you may have some version conflicts between the two systems.

Try saving out as an interchange format and then opening it on the system giving the error. That seems to strip out some document errors.

The Indesign CS export option has a format called Interchange.

My understanding is that it was developed as a back save feature but they couldn’t get it to work correctly with ID2.
