The top of my File Browser has gone off the top of the desk top. I have been unable to find a way to move it back down onto the desk top. Can anyone help me?

If you have access to the tiny black triangle in the upper right corner of the file browser, click on it and select "Dock to Palette Well." However, to do this, your screen resolution MUST be set to higher than 800 by 600. If the Dock to Palette Well option is grayed out, it is likely that your resolution is too low. This can be changed in your Control Panel. Just changing your resolution settings to a higher value should allow you to reposition it to a more accessible place and then reset your resolution settings back to "normal."

Otherwise, you may be able to dump your prefs and see if that does the trick (or treat!). Press CTRL+SHFT+ALT next time you open Photoshop. This will dump the preferences and return everything to the default settings.

Peadge 🙂
