Hi
About a week a ago I moved up from PS7 to PScs on my machine. When I go the windows explorer (file explorer) and I look at the Photoshop thumbnails they are now all Photoshop file icons, where as my jpeg thumbnails show up the way they always have as tiny images. Look under preferences didn’t see anything that would help.
Does anyone know how I can correct this?
Thanks in advance
Pete

Pete,

Look at this explanation:

PSCS doesn’t add that function to windows.

Thanks Alan,
I copied the psicon.dll file to the windows common files folder, now it works in a limited fashion. I can view PSD files under window explorer as thumbnails. However, when I throw a PSD file on the Windows desktop it still shows up as PSD icon and not as a thumbnail. There’s probably a registry tweak for this somewhere. Thanks again
Pete.
