Yes, a huge team of people puts thousands of thousands of hours of work into a fantastic program so that you can steal it. It is true that the cost is prohibitively expensive for many, but we were all there at some point and you just get what you can until you can afford the bigger and better stuff.

Try GIMP at gimp.org; or WinGIMP at wingimp.org- $29.95 as a download or $79.95 as a disc. Or, you could try http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/

I’ve used it for the last two years, until i could afford the $1230 price of the Adobe Creative Suite, and found it to be an excellent piece of software.
You would hardly appreciate someone walking off with the last year’s worth of your publication efforts, so try being honest; who knows it might just grow on you.

Just curious. How honest are you? Are you candid enough to say where the boundaries of your honesty are? I would pirate a piece of software if I needed to learn it to get a job but couldn’t afford it, especially if I were poorer than I am now…
