If you’re running PS on a Windows-based Hewlett-Packard a850y series PC (or a similar model) driving this display, what video card are you using?

Don’t Macs use ATI video cards? I’d imagine pretty much any mid-range ATI card in a PC would happily drive an Apple display. I’ve got a ATI Radeon 9800XT in this machine and it supports some pretty obscure display resolutions, including "wide" modes. I’ve got a 21" LCD running off it (not a Mac one).
