I recently purchased a Samsung 710 LCD monitor to replace an aging CRT. I am having a difficult time setting Adobe Gamma. I would appreciate some advice in setting the LCD.

TIA,
Jim

gamma is not suitable for use with lcd’s…at least according to adobe. use the ‘natural color’ calibration software that came with your samsung monitor or use third party calibration hardware & software. and make sure that you disable the ‘adobe gamma loader’ from your startup process. you’ve also got to make sure that the profile created from calibration is set as your default monitor profile. this should all be explained in the documantation supplied with the monitor.
