I have been using Elements 1since it came out and have just upgraded to Elements 3.

When using Elements 3 and I have a picture in the work space and I want to resize it when I try to use the corner handles the image disappears in the opposite direction to the direction I’m moving the resize handle at the same time the blue bars at the bottom move ether to the left or the right.

Is there anyway to prevent this, Elements 1 does not have these bars so its not a problem?

Thanks MikeS

I’ve posted similar questions. Appears you can’t lock the scroll bars. They should fix this and with an update IMHO.

Have you tried making the photo smaller (go to view, then zoom out once or twice) and working with cropping and resizing, and then making it bigger? See if this helps.
