Someone in another NG said that one can see listing of the lens focal length used in taking a shot. I checked with my PS CS browser but can’t see any reference to the lens. Is there a way to "turn on" recording the info, either in PS or the 20D?

Use your File Browser (File > Browse) and make sure "details" is selected by clicking on the tiny triangle at the top of the Browse Palette. I think that does it. I have no camera shots on my computer, so I can’t test it. Please let me know if it works.

Officially, there is no RAW support yet for the Canon EOS 20D, very soon there will be a beta version.

Or are you using JPEG?

Anyway, the EXIF info can also be found in File->File info…

After unchecking the "hide empty fields" option in Metadata display Options, the lens field showed but was empty. Apparently the 20D does not record this information.

And yes, Waldo, I’m shooting L fine jpeg
