I need Photoshop 7 Upgrade from a valid Adobe Reseller. Unfortunately, I purchased Photoshop 8 (CS), on a recommendation from Adobe Sales. The sales person did not know that Photoshop 8 did not run on a Windows 98 machine. I discovered the mistake on the part of Adobe when I downloaded their "TRY" version while awaiting arrival of the DHL shipment. Adobe would not cancel the order until I received it and sent it back for credit. Adobe no
longer sells Photoshop 7 and suggested that I try to find it from one of their
resellers.

I need to find a bonfide Adobe reseller that has a new copy of Photoshop 7 Upgrade. Can anyone help?

Regards…Bob

Don’t be an idiot. Get Windows XP and "get current". You will be glad you did.
The transition to XP is easy and worth it.

Even Win98 SE is pathetic compared to XP Pro, which may be obsoleted by the ‘new’ OS, codenamed ‘longhorn.’ Instead of looking for an obsolete version of PS to run on your obsolete Win98 box, consider the simple upgrade to XP Pro. You’ll be able to kiss good-bye the ‘blue screen of death.’ I hope that helps.

You may not be factoring in the likelihood that XP won’t run on ancient his machine and that upgrading the OS to XP would likely require an upgrade in hardware. So you’ve more than tripled his original budget. Sure, it may be worth it, but if his current budget doesn’t allow it, his original plan may still be the best option.

Thanks everyone for your responses. Peadge you are correct, I am running software that is very expensive and not compatible with XP or 2000, Interleaf
5 and 6 and Framemaker 5. I also downloaded Microsoft’s utility that tests my system for compatibility, it found a number of hardware issues.

One possible suggestion was to purchase an additional hard drive and install Windows XP. I have just returned from a MarketPro show and did not find a version of Photoshop 7. I have decided to keep my eyes open for a legal version of Photoshop 7 Upgrade. Thanks for everyone’s input.
