What is the name given (+ extention) of the XP splash Screen that comes up as Windows gets set up?

It’s an internal file and cannont be edited or replaced without special software. Google "XP skins". There’s a site that covers all of this – and there is commercial software you can buy to change it (and other Windows elements). You’re not really supposed to change it. If you manage to get it wrong, you can prevent Windows from starting at all (wont even start in safe mode).

I tried to help on this one but could not find any way to do so in XP. I remember Win 98 was easier to find.
