Just wondering, has anyone had a problem of the Adobe web site launching when you click on the effects button? It doesn’t happen all the time, but when it does, it will open the site several times before it stops. Any ideas?

Is it the website or the help file? Adobe’s help files open up in your web browser, so it may look like a website, even though it’s a local help file. No idea what could cause it, though if somehow you’ve got some shortcut mapped to open the help file, that could result in opening your browser like that…

I get so annoyed with this problem that I start closing the windows as fast as they come up. It is the help files opening, not the web site.

this usually happens when the system is low on resources. try increasing the windows swap file. maybe adding ram.

what kind of hardware? what version of windows? what version of photoshop?
