I have something wrong, and i even uninstalled and reinstalled to try and get rid of it. i have the number 1 and what looks like a mail message in a gray box in the top left corner that is on the image and i can’t get it off. any photo i try to open gets this thing on it and i can’t get rid of it.
HELP!!

You accidentally clicked the slice tool [easily done and PITA].

Go to View/Show/Slices and toggle it off.
