I use Photoshop CS (Central European) On Windows XP.
When I have a text typed in cyrillic, and I want to scroll the fonts with the keyboard arrows, the scrolling just stops as soon as it reaches any non cyrillic font. Also if I just click any font that is not cyrillic, it automatically jumps to the MyriadPro font, which is actually very very annoying.
So it makes the search for a suitable font a frustration in Photoshop, so that I have to export the PSD file into InDesign, and then look for the font I need. Interesting, that InDesign CS CE doesn`t do this – instead it continues scrolling (despite the fact, that the text is not displayed in the right font while scrolling through non cyrillic typefaces, which is not so bad. It actually was much better, when it just displayed boxes, or something pink as it was in InDesign 2, so it was much easier to distinguish the non cyrillic fonts…)
As I didn`t find any good enough answers in the russian forums, I have to ask this question here…
Please help – is there any way to get rid of this issue?
