Photoshop CS Printer Canon I960 I am having problems with color on printing a converted file. Pictures are sRGB IE61966-2.1 and my Workspace is Adobe RGB (1998). When trying to print these pictures the blacks are either mottled or if pure black print as white. I know sRGB has a smaller gamut but I can’t seem to get it to print correctly. My own camera is a Canon D60 and I have no problems with printing it’s pictures. (I think it is native Adobe RGB (1998). I just use regular default settings with no problems. There are several profiles for Canon I960 but they all seem to have the same problem. What if anything do I need to do after converting to Adobe RGB?

Use: File-Print with Preview and select Show More Options. Click the little Aroow and select Color Management. Mark Document (it should say Adobe RGB)
Under Color Profile select the one corresponding to the paper you use. It should be in the Paper you bay or in the printer instructions. For intent select Perceptual and mark Blackpoint Compensation.

Make sure you have the right paper settings in the Canon driver.
