Turn off your ‘Always Dial This Connection’ tab in IE if you have dialup. Set the option to ‘Never dial a connection’.
Block Access to the Adobe website somehow if you have ADSL. Configure your firewall to prevent packets going out to that site.
Why do you want to stop it contacting the ‘net anyway. AFAIK it only does it to register the product and periodically afterwards to check for updates. If its not registered, it will stop after 30 days as an anti-piracy measure 😉
I have a registered copy on a notebook PC where I have no internet access at all, not even dialup, and that machine doesn’t try contacting the ‘net. I did have to register it by ‘phone. Some of the advanced tutorials are only available on the web anyway.
