I am using Photoshop 7 and own a Fuji S7000 camera.
The Fuji software included a RAW converter, but all this seems to do is allow you to save directly as TIFF file. I am looking for compatible software that will allow me to ‘process’ the RAW files in terms of exposure/ white balance etc. Cannot afford to upgrade to CS and don’t want to clog up my machine with Elements either.
Any economical / effective alternatives anyone can recommend…?

If you are running WinXP try Rawshooter. It is kind of in beta right now, no Apple or Win2000 support, and has issues with some processors, but if you are running XP on a pentium you shouldn’t have any problems. One of the guys that developed it is the same person that developed Phase One Capture One. It is free right now:

Take a look at:

The Bibble Raw converter is outstanding, reasonably priced, and there’s excellent support from users, as well as the designers of the software.
