I’m trying to make a roll over button for a web site
but the text on the button becomes jagged when I save it to .gif

What is the correct way to save a button to around 1k in size and still maintain it clarity?

Save For Web -> Select Gif 32 colors (or 64/128/256 depending on what you need)
The number of colours is what’s making the text jagged!

Hi Ron –

When this happened to me, I solved it by selecting a "Matte" color (in Save for Web) that matched my background color.
