I’m looking for advice about a color printer to replace my HP 930C.
Here’s my situation. I have a Canon Rebel XT Digital camera that I use primarily for taking garden photographs usually in RAW format. I download those photographs to my PC and enhance them with Photoshop Elements 4. I’ve calibrated my monitor so that it displays the photographs quite well. My problem is that my old HP 930C printer insists on giving a blue cast to the photographs even after I use the advanced setting to adjust color tone to the maximum warm setting.
I realize that I’m probably expecting too much from an old printer, so I have to replace it. I’ll appreciate any advice about what printer I should buy so that I can print reasonably good photographs. For my purposes, print quality is much more important than speed. I don’t mind waiting many minutes while the printer does its job if the resulting output is good.
I look forward to receiving recommendations for a printer I should consider.
