Sorry for what is probably asking the obvious – total Photoshop CS newbie…
I have loaded a .jpg picture of a headstone with a view of trying out some layouts to get a better idea of what the finished item will look like.
As it will eventually be a dual headstone (sorry for the morbid subject) I have used the Horizontal Type Tool to ‘engrave’ one side of the stone and wanted to separate the two halves vertically with a thin cross type of object.
What would be the best way to achieve this please?
Also instead of the text being in white is there a way of viewing it in silver (or maybe gold)?
Can I pick a colour already present in the original .jpg to use as a text colour?
