Moving windows

I have set up my palettes but frequently can’t click on the blue bar at the top to move them. It doesn’t seem to matter which tool I am clicked on they will not move. I can minimise and expand them.
I am using Photoshop CS on a PC.

Dawn, you can go to Windows, Workspace and click on Reset Palette Locations to get them back to default locations. Don’t know if this is what you need or not.

Unfortunately not but thanks for the thought. What I want to be able to do is move them around the workspace as they are. I have a certain configuration that I use.

Something has gone pear-shaped here. I would try resetting the Preferences as per the FAQs. (cures all sorts of odd problems)

Once you get back the ability to move them. Set up a workspace and save it (Windows>Workspace>Save), then you can always get it back in a couple of clicks.
