Yup, customers first got it into their hands today.
As to the questions – we try very hard to remain backwards compatible with actions files. We do extensive tests reading in actions files from CS and 7, so they should all work.
So long as it does not arrive without documentation, in a jewel CD case or flimsy sleeve and an activation code hand written on sticky label I guess you’ll be OK.
Not due to be here until 10:00am today. I’ve got gigs this weekend and probably won’t be able to load CS2 until the end of next week ;(
Interestingly, they have not billed my credit card yet, even for the PSCS2 copies. I also only ordered on April 11th, not as early as many others I suspect. So, I would think that most early pre-orders should be shipping soon if not already.
Actually I’ve just phoned Adobe UK (and got through to a guy in France, but I guess that’s another story!) Apparently the UK shipping date was the 21st too – so I wait with bated breath. I don’t suppose all the preorders will be sent out the same day. Just hope it’s alphabetical <grin>

Actually DHL, and we call USPS "Letter Carriers" now because they are not always men. PC here. ;}
But I have to do a job this morning and will not be here when the DHL gets here. I’m not sure if signature is required or not, but it will likely be next week before I get to play.
this sux. i can’t get it anywhere. comp usa, who says they’re a "premire adobe partner" hasn’t even been informed it’s shipping. i can’t order from adobe with overnight, can’t from amazon.
I’m glad you’re so excited. I’m sure manufacturing is turning out boxes out as fast as they can. I’d expect to start seeing Photoshop CS2 everywhere next week.
I suspect it’ll take a little longer for the entire suite package to start going out.

because i’m not going to pay overnight (~20+ bux?) for something that says "shipping before may". if it’s shipping it should read "shipping" and then i’d order.
Hmm, I just upgraded through the Adobe Store and was told by the CS agent that it wouldn’t be shipping until May and that the exact date was still being determined.
