I’ve just downloaded an action that I’ve seen a friend use. Where do I install it in the CS2 program folders.

Thanks in Advance,

Bob

Load Photoshop, bring up the actions palette click on the flyout menu for the actions palette, select load or replace actions and browse to the action file. Copying the action file in to the Photoshop actions file will not load the action in to photoshop. It will make it one click available at the bottom of the action palettes flyout menu, but you still have to load the action(s) in to the actions palette.

In Windows, the default folder is:

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS2\Presets\Photoshop Actions

…. if you’ve installed Photoshop to another drive – then adjust the drive letter accordingly. You do still need to load the action from the flyout menu, as already mentioned…

Thank’s "Kid"! I did what you said and it worked. Doing it and having it work are not always givens with me!
