I can’t believe I am even asking this question but would be so grateful for any help.

I live in the UK and went to the Adobe Store and was asked to login. I tried what I thought was my login but it was rejected. Next I tried to create one and it said it was already in use in another country so I would have to start again. As the user name is your email email address I was stuck. It is possible that I created the login on the wrong site at some time but I am not sure why I was allowed to do it. When I called Adobe I was connected to someone in France who was difficult to understand but they said the login could not be changed. I guess I will eventually find the correct phone number but as I buy all the upgrades I would very much like to be able to use the online ordering facility.

It would be so good if you could create one login for everything on the Adobe site not the three I have but that may be wishful thinking.

I finally managed to place my order by phone to France but now realize that I did not get an order reference number so I will wait and see what happens.

It seems I have two customer number with only two products registered so I had to register Illustrator 9.0, Audition 1.5 and Golive 6.0 yet again. Did not bother to re register LiveMotion, 🙂

Ken – if you can, try Avant Browser then download the RoboForm software.

Setting up RoboForm is quite easy. Entering passwords and usernames becomes a single click job once RoboForm is running.

Failing that, if you are using FireFox there is a way to find your saved usernames and passwords too.

RoboForm is nice and helps to shourt circuit any keyloggers 🙂

Ken.

The UK store has major log-in problems. They do know about it and are apparently working to address the problem.

I was even given a new password over the phone and the customer service guy reset it for me there and then. But I still couldn’t log in. So then he tried to log in himself, with his own username etc, and even he was rejected!

Today I phoned to ask for an anticipated delivery date for CS and got through to France!

The good news is that the shipping date for UK preorders has been brought forward to the 21st – YESTERDAY!!

Oh and guess what. They eventually found all my previous registrations – on the USA site!

Chris.

Thanks Chris and deebs, I guess I will now just wait my turn.

I have been running the quicktime movie on the Adobe site and some of the new features like like vanishing point look amazing as my interest is primarily in photography. It is interesting the some like red eye and the spot healing brush seem straight out of Photoshop Elements 3.

Ken

The feature I am most looking forward to is the HDR support and I looking forward to seeing how it works with my Canon 10D. Dynamic range has been a problem and I have been using it like a camera with slide film and slightly under exposing. I even went out and bought some new grades.

As I am sure everyone knows with digital cameras under exposure does not help with getting low noise images. Using a tripod to shoot multiple images at different exposures would be a small price to pay for the increase in dynamic range.

Ken

Adobe needs to take a lesson from New Egg. I pre-ordered my PS CS2 upgrade on April 4, through the Adobe Store (US), express shipping. People on this forum have posted that they ordered on April 20 and have already received their upgrade. For me, this sucks. Chris, in this case my system is not hosed, yours is.

I say we form an angry mob and go torch something unless we all have CS2 waiting for us when we get home from work tomorrow!
