Bridge ignores rotations done in CS browser?

I just received email this morning that my CS2 had shipped yesterday and about an hour later DHL dropped it on my door. Wow, that was fast! Way to go, Adobe!

I’ve barely had time to install and do a quick look. But I have noticed that images that I rotated in CS browser to vertical (my D100 doesn’t do that for me) remain vertical in CS but return to horizontals when using Bridge in CS2. Please tell me there is a work around! It would be much less of a nuisance for me to do this again than for many, as my files are still relatively small in number. This would be a real headache for large collections. If I am just too new to this, please tell me to RTFM. 😉

Lloyd.

Congratulations on being the first person on this forum with a specific question about his working copy of CS2!

Can’t help though I’m afraid. I’m still waiting for mine!! <grin>

Dave Milbut would normally jump in with some words of wisdom, but he’s too busy sulking!! <double_grin>

No worries, I’m sure there’ll be a Beta Tester or two to the rescue shortly.

Enjoy.

Chris.

If you haven’t already exported the cache on CS File Browser then do so. Bridge doesn’t look at the CS central cache.

Edit:

Also, goto <http://photoshopnews.com/?p=225> scroll to the bottom of the article and download the keyboard shortcuts for Bridge and Camera Raw 😉

Chris,

Thanks! I can’t believe I’m first. Thank goodness it came by courier. USPS in my area would have delivered it after v10 is out. 🙂

Ian,

Thanks for the info, and your wonderful website! I shall perform the cache export.

Regards,
Lloyd
