how to stop fax preview from opening photoshop?

recently when I run the MS fax wizard and click on fax preview, adobe photoshop CS (win xp sp 2) opens and i can see half a page of the fax and no more than that. the preview used to open in the fax and picture previewer but somehow APCS has taken over. how do i choose which types of files open with Photoshop and which dont?

In the Windows file manager (or My Computer) go to the directory with the fax file in it. Right click on that fax file. Select OPEN WITH from the list. Choose the FAX & PICTURE VIEWER program from the list, then there is an option "Always use this option to open this kind of file". If you check-off this box, the program you choose becomes your default setting for that particular File Type.
