Not really so strange – for this job, you have to apply via the University’s automated system as I’ve outlined. It’s actually not bad – you can store your resume on the system and then apply to as many campus jobs as you want by clicking a button or two. I use a throw- away gmail address here because I don’t want to attract spam to my usual email.

If you do not even know which side of a letter to reply to, it is not starnge not knowing how to hide an email address.
