Downloaded a web template from exchange. What is the process to make buttons work or go to the next page? My template has Home,Search,About,Contact. Now what do I do?
Thanks in advance.

Are the buttons separate images? Are they rollovers? Are they just button-shaped parts of a single large image?
Which template did you download?
Is there a "read me" file included?
Can you post it on the www?
Why do I ask so many questions? Because I have never used such templates, and am not sure exactly how you need to proceed.
If you have an image, say a single button, that you want to apply a link to, you will first need to open the html page in a web design program, or open it in your browser, then go to View>Source.
In Internet Explorer, that will open the html markup in Notepad. There you will need to find the buttons in the html, and turn them into links. That is pretty easy, really. You will want it to end up looking like this (remove the "X"s)… <Xa href="index.html"><Ximg src="home_button.gif" width="100" height="20"
alt="Home" border="0"></a>
and
<Xa href="about.html"><Ximg src="about_button.gif" width="100" height="20"
alt="About" border="0"></a> Things get more complicated with search and contact. Do you intend to have a search feature in your site? Just for the site, or for the whole web? Either way, this is not something that can be covered in a single reply. This is not beginner stuff.
With contact, do you want a simple email link, or do you want to make a separate page for contact?
For the email link…
<Xa href="mailto:"><Ximg src="contact_button.gif" width="100"
height="20" alt="Contact" border="0"></a> A better solution might be a separate page with a form for contact. All in all, you are going to need to learn the basics of html to make this work for you.
